6th Annual Barry Charity Golf Classic Last year’s wish child was Katelyn Bailey. A beautiful 6 year old girl who lives in Middletown. At 9 months old she was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumor. She endured more than a year of chemo and radiation and beat the odds! Now Katelyn has been diagnosed with advanced leukemia. Her only hope was a bone marrow transplant that she received last April. According to her Facebook page Help Katelyn Bailey, she is doing well. Katelyn was not strong enough to join us at the tournament last year to celebrate her ongoing recovery. But please join us in wishing Katelyn a speedy recovery so she can enjoy her Wish Come True! |

A Wish Come True, Inc is a local non-profit organization founded in 1982 that grants wishes to children 3 through 18 who have a life-threatening illness and live in Rhode Island and areas of Southeastern Massachusetts. The number of children seeking wishes continues to grow and thanks to the help of individuals like you along with our generous corporate sponsors, A Wish Come True will be able to grant some of those wishes. In fact, past tournaments have raised enough money to grant the wishes of several area children. Each year the BCG tournament organizers offer the participants, volunteers, & folks with peripheral interest several options to assist in raising funds for BCG’s worthwhile causes. We annually raffle off hundreds of items donated by local businesses and individuals while auctioning off some of our more generous donations. Our 50/50 raffle is also available and is a big hit. In addition, there will be a silent auction of some of the finest sports memorabilia available focusing on the New England sports scene. The Barry Charity Golf Classic's all volunteer staff incurs no overhead. We are proud to say that 100% of the proceeds are donated to the children that are selected by A Wish Come True, Inc. |

For the 4th year, the event will take place
at the scenic Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth, RI on Saturday
May 19th. The event sells out quickly. We'd like to thank in advance all the golfers that step up and get their payments to us in record time. We look forward to another successful event. See you in May. |
